This is the easiest and one of the most effective ways of helping us. It takes a few minutes, and you will do the world a ton of good. Want to know more?

What Are We Doing?
We are asking members of Nextdoor, to help get the word out to their neighbors about our free service.

Why This Is Important?
Two important reasons:
1) On average, every tree that is registered produces enough food to feed 31 people for a day. This is good for the fruit donors, the poor, the volunteers and the environment. Everyone wins.
2) When the density of tree registration in an area goes up, we do less driving and more picking.

Sample Posts
You can find sample posts here. Feel free to copy and paste, or write your own post.

If all you want to do is make one post, thank you. If you want to help more, read on.

Is One Post Enough?
No! Most fruit donors register their trees when the tree is loaded with ripe fruit. Oranges are registered in winter, apricots in spring and pears in summer.

Can You Spare 5 minutes, per quarter?
If yes, the process is simple:

Once every quarter, we’ll send you a short paragraph (that you can modify) with an optional picture for posting to Nextdoor. You make the post and you are done.

That’s it.

Use your fingertips to reduce waste and feed the hungry!
